Textile and print work exploring diaspora, memory and cultural storytelling through illustration, pattern and archival reference.

Created through multiple collaborations with Labrum London, these works use illustration and surface design to explore migration, Black history, memory and political storytelling. Using archival imagery, postage stamps, portraiture and symbolic motifs, the collections turn clothing and textiles into places where fashion, history and storytelling meet.

FEATURED CASE STUDY: LABRUM LONDON

Selected collections and textile collaborations, 2020–present.

ARCHIVE + MEMORY

The Black Prince Naimbana — SS20

Labrum x Selfridges — Limited Edition Stamp Collection

African Vintage Stamp Series

Using textile illustration, this body of work revisits archives, memory and diasporic histories to centre Black presence within fashion and visual culture. Postage stamps, portraiture and historical references become tools for retelling stories and asking who gets remembered.

CULTURAL ICONOGRAPHY

Labrum x Tupac Capsule Collection

Created for Labrum London’s capsule collection inspired by Tupac Shakur, these works explored softness, contradiction and masculinity through illustrated motifs drawn from The Rose That Grew from Concrete.

PATTERN AS STORYTELLING

Across the collections, pattern becomes a way of carrying memory, migration, and cultural reference through repetition, material and wearable form.
